Soccer Game Preview: Uvalde vs. Marble Falls

The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will head out to square off against the Marble Falls Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Uvalde is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past John F. Kennedy 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marble Falls). They put the hurt on LBJ Austin with a sharp 6-1 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Marble Falls sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Marble Falls' win bumped their record up to 15-3-5. As for Uvalde, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10-1.

Uvalde might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Marble Falls in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
