Baseball Recap: Litchfield Comes Up Short

Litchfield fell victim to Southwest Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Litchfield got a good showing from Tyler Eichner, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Litchfield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Southwest Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Litchfield is taking a road trip to take on Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Southwest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
