The Mathews Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Middlesex Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mathews is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season.

Mathews had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the ten-goal drubbing they dealt Nandua on Wednesday. The Blue Devils never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. While Mathews didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their offense was hitting Nandua from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Meredith Salvadori led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Middlesex was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against West Point, falling 7-0. Middlesex's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Mathews, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
