Volleyball Recap: West Albany Falls Despite Big Games from Bryn Nieman and Ellie Grace + How To Watch

West Albany was the 3-0 winner over Grant when they last played one another back in October of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Generals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

West Albany actually scored more points across those three sets (62-48), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 7-25, 15-13.

West Albany's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ellie Grace, who had 19 digs and two aces, and Bryn Nieman, who had 18 assists and five kills.

West Albany's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

West Albany wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Forest Grove on the 6th. As for Grant, they will welcome Ida B. Wells at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
