Volleyball Recap: Fontbonne Academy Takes a Loss

Fontbonne Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Archbishop Williams Bishops, falling 3-0. The Ducks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bishops earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Archbishop Williams scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Fontbonne Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Archbishop Williams, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Fontbonne Academy has already played their next match (against Watertown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Archbishop Williams, they will take on Weymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
