They fell just short of the Mighty Hoppers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Georgetown Visitation Prep's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Georgetown Visitation Prep dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Georgetown Day, they, and Sidwell Friends. As for the Mighty Hoppers, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 14-3-1 record this season.
