Recap: Valley Christian Eagles vs. Columbiana Clippers
The Valley Christian Eagles lost against the Columbiana Clippers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Valley Christian fell just short of Columbiana by a score of 54-51. Valley Christian has struggled against Columbiana recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Ian Less continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Columbiana, going 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists. That's the first time this season that Less scored 15 or more points. Maddox Brown was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Valley Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Columbiana, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will take on Leetonia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbiana, they will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
