Desert Edge is a perfect 5-0 against Youngker since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Scorpions will head out to challenge the Roughriders at 5:00 p.m. Desert Edge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Youngker came up short against Independence on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Roughriders in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-11.

Desert Edge's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Youngker, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.

Desert Edge took their victory against Youngker in their previous matchup on April 1st by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scorpions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
