Upper Merion Area won the last time they faced Upper Perkiomen and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings blew past the Indians 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Upper Merion Area took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Mikaella Ca?ete and Jade Webb, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Emily Nguyen and her 23 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The victory got Upper Merion Area back to even at 8-8-1. As for Upper Perkiomen, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Merion Area will square off against Great Valley at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Upper Perkiomen, they will head out to challenge Quakertown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
