Baseball Recap: Grant Takes a Loss

Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Antelope Titans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-2 loss back in March.

Grant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joel De La Cruz, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Antelope, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grant is set to challenge their familiar foe Cordova at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Antelope will square off against rival West Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
