Basketball Recap: Envision Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Envision Academy won the last time they faced Richmond, and Chuka ACHINULO did his part to make sure it happened again. Envision Academy took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 61-25 victory over the Richmond Oilers thanks in part to ACHINULO, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 32 boards. ACHINULO is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 22 every time he's taken the court this season.

With the win, Envision Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Richmond, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Envision Academy will take on De Anza in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond and City Arts and Leadership Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so City Arts and Leadership Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
