Softball Recap: Bayshore Comes Up Short

Bayshore lost against Southeast back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bruins lost 18-3 to the Seminoles. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bayshore's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Southeast, their win ended a 17-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bayshore will venture away from home to face off against Braden River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.11 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Southeast, they will head out to square off against Riverview Sarasota at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
