Soccer Recap: Greenback vs. Oneida
After flying high against Harriman last Tuesday, Greenback came back down to earth. The Greenback Cherokees lost 4-1 to the Oneida Indians on Thursday. The Cherokees haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Greenback's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Oneida, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenback will venture away from home to take on Tellico Plains at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenback is facing Tellico Plains at the right time seeing as Tellico Plains is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Oneida, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Cumberland Gap at 6:30 p.m.
