Football Recap: NYOS Charter Jaguars vs. Williamson County HomeSchool
NYOS Charter was the 47-36 winner over Williamson County HomeSchool when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The NYOS Charter Jaguars came up short against Williamson County HomeSchool on Saturday, falling 60-34.
A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Peter Currie and his top target Luke Currie. Peter threw for 270 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per attempt while Luke picked up 186 receiving yards and five touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards.
NYOS Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Williamson County HomeSchool, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.
NYOS Charter will face off against Grace Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamson County HomeSchool, they will take on St. Stephen's Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
