Volleyball Recap: Troy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Troy entered their tilt with Sonora on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Sonora Raiders by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Troy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-12, 25-16, 26-24.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Sonora, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

The future could be bright for both Troy and Sonora: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Troy will try to hand La Habra their 12th-straight loss when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Sonora will look to extend El Modena's three-game losing streak when they meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
