Preview: John Marshall Lawyers vs. Campus International Trailblazers
The John Marshall Lawyers's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Campus International Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. John Marshall's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Campus International's offense will have their work cut out for Campus International.
After only ten points in their last matchup, John Marshall made sure to put some points up on the board against East Tech on Tuesday. John Marshall claimed a resounding 56-13 victory over East Tech at home.
John Marshall's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayleena Orozco, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Orozco has scored at least 25% of John Marshall's points. Another player making a difference was Ariella Parrish, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Campus International had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a rough 61-15 loss at the hands of Max S. Hayes.
The losses dropped John Marshall to 3-1 and East Tech to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for John Marshall against Campus International when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 47-19 win. Will John Marshall repeat their success, or does Campus International have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
