Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montesano). They came out on top against the Wahkiakum Mules by a score of 65-55 on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Montesano's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Wahkiakum, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montesano will welcome Tenino at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Montesano is facing Tenino at the right time seeing as Tenino is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wahkiakum, they will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Coupeville at 3:30 p.m.
