Basketball Game Preview: Leakey Eagles vs. Knippa Crushers

Leakey hasn't had much luck against Knippa recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Crushers at 7:30 p.m. Leakey has given up an average of 66.4 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Leakey took a blow against Rocksprings, falling 56-26.

Meanwhile, Knippa didn't have too much trouble with Utopia on Friday as they won 44-25. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crushers.

Knippa's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Leakey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Leakey was taken down by Knippa 70-25 when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
