Softball Recap: Rosholt Comes Up Short

Rosholt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the Port Edwards Blackhawks. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blackhawks earlier this season, when they won 25-6.

Rosholt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sami Kaminski, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Rosholt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Port Edwards, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rosholt will take on rival Pittsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Port Edwards is set to face off against their familiar foe Tri-County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
