Desert Hills has gone 8-2 against Pine View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Desert Hills Thunder will face off against the Pine View Panthers at 2:00 p.m. Both were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Desert Hills came up into this matchup off a tough 36-point defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Crimson Cliffs by a score of 51-49 on Tuesday. The Thunder just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Pine View didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar on Thursday and fell 52-50. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly two points.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine View and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Desert Hills, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Desert Hills strolled past Pine View when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 57-40. Will Desert Hills repeat their success, or does Pine View have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
