Baseball Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside lost to Brookland back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 14-5 to the Bearcats.

Westside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Dodson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Dodson's first of the season.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Brookland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

While Westside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
