Hialeah Gardens is a perfect 7-0 against American since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Gladiators will host the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hialeah Gardens came up short against American Heritage on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Gladiators have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Hialeah Gardens was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made American Heritage work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 28-26.

Meanwhile, American lost 3-0 to Reagan on Tuesday.

While American ultimately came up short, they really made Reagan work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-18.

American's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hialeah Gardens, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Everything went Hialeah Gardens' way against American in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, as Hialeah Gardens made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
