The Master's Academy is 9-1 against Trinity Prep since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. The last three games The Master's Academy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Friday, The Master's Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Harmony. They won by a run and slipped past the Longhorns 12-11. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Noah Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off four hits. Martinez was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Bryce Knuppel was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. David Garcia was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Trinity Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
The team relied heavily on Kaden Ruhl, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Armando Ros Diaz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Trinity Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Trinity Prep's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for The Master's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
Everything went The Master's Academy's way against Trinity Prep in their previous meeting back in February, as The Master's Academy made off with a 7-1 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
