Soccer Game Preview: Lehigh vs. Cypress Lake

The Lehigh Lightning will take on the Cypress Lake Panthers in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lehigh is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Gateway on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Lightning haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Lehigh's goal came courtesy of Robert Cocom, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Cypress Lake came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and Estero finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers as the team haven't won a game since December 2nd.

With that draw, Cypress Lake's record moves to 2-9-2. As for Lehigh, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
