Whittier Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Maranatha proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Whittier Christian Heralds out 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Minutemen.

Anthony Ter-Matevosyan and Mauricio Ramirez scored all three of Maranatha's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Maranatha's victory bumped their record up to 7-10-3. As for Whittier Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-2.

Maranatha will face off against Village Christian at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Village Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Whittier Christian, they will square off against Heritage Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
