Softball Recap: Orting Cardinals vs. Foss Falcons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orting). They blew past the Foss Falcons 22-0 on Monday. With that victory, the Cardinals brought their scoring average up to 7.4 runs per game.
Macy Sullenger made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Sullenger was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season.

In other batting news, Taryn Janosik was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alwina Alokoa, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
