Cuyahoga Heights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Brooklyn Hurricanes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Brooklyn's batters probably weren't too happy with Nathan Tommer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up a single walk).

On the hitting side, Cuyahoga Heights' victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was MacGowan Rott, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Cuyahoga Heights hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brooklyn struck out 13 times.

Cuyahoga Heights' win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Brooklyn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Cuyahoga Heights will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
