Southeast's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Crestview Rebels. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their one-run performance the match before.

Liv Bragg looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Miranda Timko, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Neena Truex, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Southeast's record is now 5-3. As for Crestview, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3-1.

Southeast and Crestview could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Pirates will square off against Steubenville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (152 vs. 39). Meanwhile, Crestview (ranked 208th) will meet Champion (ranked 21st) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
