Baseball Recap: Lee Central Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Lee Central's offense. They came up short against the Lamar Silver Foxes on Friday, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silver Foxes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-8 on Tuesday.

Lee Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Lamar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Lee Central will welcome McBee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Stallions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lamar, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lake City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
