Basketball Recap: Rensselaer Central Takes a Loss

Rensselaer Central managed to keep up with Twin Lakes until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rensselaer Central Bombers took a blow against the Twin Lakes Indians, falling 64-33. The contest marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Twin Lakes found their leader in sophomore Keaton Miller, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Dellinger, who posted ten points and six assists.

Rensselaer Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Twin Lakes, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rensselaer Central will venture away from home to challenge Hanover Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Lakes, they will head out on the road to take on Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Frankfort has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
