Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Summit Tahoma on Wednesday, Mountain View Academy came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Pine Hills Adventist Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Myka Chan paced Mountain View Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Chan really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. Isadora DeSouza controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Mountain View Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pine Hills Adventist, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Mountain View Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Glendale Adventist on the 2nd. As for Pine Hills Adventist, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Adventure Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
