Basketball Recap: Pawling Takes a Loss

Pawling entered their matchup against Haldane on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pawling Tigers fell just short of the Haldane Blue Devils by a score of 53-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-50 back in January.

Pawling's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Haldane, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Haldane, they will take on Putnam Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
