Volleyball Recap: Westside Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Avon

Westside Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Avon on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-8.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Avon, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Westside Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Avon and Steele will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
