Softball Recap: Hodgdon Hawks vs. Fort Fairfield Tigers
While Hodgdon put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Fort Fairfield. The Hodgdon Hawks blew past the Fort Fairfield Tigers 17-0. Hodgdon's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
The win got Hodgdon back to even at 2-2. As for Fort Fairfield, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
Hodgdon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 victory vs. Central Aroostook on the 6th. Fort Fairfield has also already played their next matchup, a 21-9 defeat against Ashland on the 6th.
