Cibola typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Volcano Vista proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 10-5. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Noah Massey was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Bradyn Mazuranich was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Massey wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Volcano Vista lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Volcano Vista's record is now 13-8. As for Cibola, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Volcano Vista will face off against rival Piedra Vista at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cibola is set to take on their familiar foe Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
