Softball Recap: Camden Fairview Comes Up Short

Camden Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Hope Bobcats, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 last Tuesday.

Camden Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Hope, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Camden Fairview is taking a road trip to square off against Hamburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.82 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hope, they will head out to take on Nashville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
