Baseball Recap: Canyon del Oro Triumphs

Canyon del Oro won the last time they faced Vista Grande and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Dorados walked away with a 9-5 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dorados.

Francisco Rivero was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adrian Encinas, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Canyon del Oro's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Vista Grande, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8-1.

Canyon del Oro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Pueblo on the 11th. As for Vista Grande, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Catalina Foothills on the 11th.
