Bellefonte had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Bellefonte pulled away in the second half with two goals.
