Basketball Recap: Delta Charter's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Delta Charter can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over the Tioga Timberwolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Dragons have posted since February 1, 2024.

Delta Charter was led to victory by Jayden Walker and Jaylen West. Walker dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards, while West dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Walker is now averaging an impressive 9.5 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin Sousa, who posted four points and seven rebounds.
