Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is South Haven Christian's Third in Last Four Outings

South Haven Christian claimed a resounding 63-18 win over the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots thanks in part to Letova, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 12 points and five steals. South Haven Christian is 13-5 when Letova posts five or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Maylen Gagliano, who posted nine points along with six boards and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Victory Baptist Academy lost on Tuesday, don't look at Noella Price. Despite the final result, she had 14 points. That was a full 77.8% of Victory Baptist Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

South Haven Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Victory Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
