Soccer Game Preview: Ketchikan vs. Homer

The Ketchikan Kings will challenge the Homer Mariners at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Homer took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ketchikan, who comes in off a win.

If Homer heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Ketchikan took over last week. The Kings blew past Houston 5-1 two weeks ago. Ketchikan haven't had any issues with Houston recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Ketchikan hit Houston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aspen Bauer (2), Chelsey Weber, Callie Baker, and Winter Loretan.

Meanwhile, Homer had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to Kenai Central. Homer have struggled against Kenai Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
