Basketball Recap: Tonkawa Takes a Loss

Tonkawa lost against Garber back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tonkawa Buccaneers were dealt a 48-13 loss at the hands of the Garber Wolverines. The contest marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Tonkawa and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Garber, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

After both having extra time off, Tonkawa and Hennessey will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Garber, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waukomis at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
