Recap: Brentwood Christian Bears vs. Holy Cross Knights
If the Brentwood Christian Bears were feeling good off their 51-25 takedown of the Regents Knights last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Brentwood Christian took a 42-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Holy Cross on Friday. Brentwood Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Holy Cross apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Holy Cross had a senior duo take command as Jenna Arugello scored 13 points and Emma Garcia scored ten points.
Brentwood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Holy Cross, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Texas School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Brentwood Christian will head out to face Texas School for the Deaf at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while Holy Cross will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
