Volleyball Game Preview: First Baptist Academy vs. Victory Christian Academy Chargers

After both having extra time off, First Baptist Academy and the Victory Christian Academy Chargers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, First Baptist Academy came up short against Maryville Christian and fell 2-0.

While First Baptist Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Victory Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road last Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of First Baptist Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

First Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

First Baptist Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Victory Christian Academy when the teams last played last Monday, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for First Baptist Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
