Basketball Recap: Smithville Falls Short of Arnett in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Smithville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 54-24 to the Arnett Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Braves have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Smithville's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Arnett, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Smithville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arnett has already played their next match (against Chattanooga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
