 Mitchell never let their opponents score on Monday. They walked away with  a   3-0  victory over the Beech Grove Hornets. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Mitchell.
 Not much got past  Ben Seitzinger, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Beech Grove off the board. Seitzinger has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Simon Gaines, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  AJ Sarver, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Mitchell has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record  this season. As for Beech Grove, they dropped their record down to 3-23 with that  defeat, which was their 12th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Mitchell will face off against Sullivan at 1:00  p.m.  on Monday. Sullivan will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Mitchell surely won't give up without a fight. Beech Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
