Georgetown's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Peabody Warhorses. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Peabody, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Georgetown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-5 defeat against Harrisonburg on the 25th. As for Peabody, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Avoyelles Charter on the 26th.
