Baseball Recap: Pleasant Comes Up Short

Pleasant fell victim to Ontario and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 13-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pleasant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Bailey, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Ontario, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

While Pleasant had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
