Dallas HSAA came tearing into Thursday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Texas Truth HomeSchool Truth 46-28. Given the Angels' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Truth are ranked 454th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Dallas HSAA to victory were Jessi Yarbrough and Adeline 'Addy' Seal. Yarbrough went 5-for-10 to rack up 11 points and three steals, while Seal went 5-for-10 on her way to 11 points and eight boards. Yarbrough is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kenley Moore, who posted eight points.

Dallas HSAA's win bumped their record up to 30-5. As for Texas Truth HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season.

Dallas HSAA wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-36 victory against Dallas Thunder on the 21st. As for Texas Truth HomeSchool, they have also already played their next game, a 52-47 loss against Fort Worth THESA on the 22nd.
