Madison County had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They never let the North Jackson Chiefs get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-2 back in March.

Marion Gamble looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Madison County got a massive performance out of Kylie Moore, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Moore a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Gurley, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Madison County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in 11 consecutive games.

Madison County pushed their record up to 23-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for North Jackson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Madison County will square off against Sardis at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for North Jackson, they will take on Etowah at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
